This website is where I, Danny Schweers, welcome you to my world, a beautiful joyous place. I am so glad you are visiting! Ignore the barking dog and my occasional blatant disdain. I try to keep both under control.
Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — I try to write about such things following the advice of Saint Paul. Occasionally, to my surprise, I am successful!
At the end of 2025, one subscriber said, “I was saving your Photo Prayer to savor when I got a moment.” That gave me a new goal in my writing, to think of myself as a cook, to create scrumptious text with many layers of flavor!

I am provoked!
I am compelled to write. I cannot sleep otherwise. God help me!
I see others who are provoked. Like me, they want to make things better but they often seem to make life worse for themselves and others. Am I better than them? Can I actually make things better? I say missives, not missiles! I say peace and pixels!
