Day 3, Camera Store

Charlottesville, Virginia, home of the University of Virginia, impressed me, especially that the city made its downtown a pedestrian plaza and succeeded in making it a lively place on Saturdays, with live music by local performers and open-air seating for restaurants.

This storefront of a camera shop caught my eye, all these old film cameras. The lenses, though old, still fit new cameras. I have a 50mm f/1.4 lens that is 50 years old. Will it be a 51mm lens when it is 51 years old?

COMMENTS

Elle wrote: I visited Charlottesville in the summer a few decades ago. They hosted a weekly downtown festival, and there was a music group on just about every corner. Very cool.

Carol wrote: Glad you liked Charlottesville! Spent four years at UVA and another year afterwards working at Children’s Rehab Center. 😊
